1. Sign out of Xfinity account before searching.
2. When you enter the address, select you are moving here as a new customer.
3. Once you select the plan, it will give an option to create a new account or login. Login with your existing id.
4. It will create a new account and close the old account on your existing login.
5. You will be charged prorated amount on old account and new account starts right away.
6. Your internet will be on for a while but one day it will stop working.
7. If you owned the modem then you can restart the modem and go through activation process on new login and move old modem over. Else use new rental modem for activation.
8. If you have you mobile lines then you can call them to move the lines to new account.

Lucky you. I spent the last two days talking to many reps...one transferring to the other...none having a clue...getting sent to a store..there again no clue..got set up on a video call in store...no clue...got transferred to security team..escalation team...still not done. Crazy.
I can see even old account numbers on my account. As long as you have right account number when you talk to reps, then they should not bother you about address on old account.

Not really. The whole thing started with them calling me about their having detected another account at the same address and same name. So they seem to have some process to find these and stop it. Bay be a manual one. So ymmv.
What if you don't have alternative if you use their modem you get unlimited data and only cost 5 dollars that's the setup I have for 200 mb speed but I checked speeds and usually is always over 300 may I'm lucky

Installation changes another scam by them. Is it 1995? When they tell you that you have unlimited data again is it 1995 or are we streaming video and such 24/7?
