Try not stuffing a 50 lb child in the bag and then the single wheels should be fine.

I have the 24". I'm happy with it. I've only been on 2 trips to Asia with it so far and it's held up.
Looks like most of the complaints are around the handle and the wheels, which I admit could be nicer. At this price, double wheels probably could've been included.. They don't scream poor quality like some people are commenting though. It's also Polycarbonate which is the most durable of the luggages.

Black is $25 more. These don't seem to be anywhere near twice as nice as the Amazon Basics case that was sub $50 a few weeks ago.

The Amazon basics that was posted here a few weeks ago was a 21". It was also made of ABS vs the Samsonite Omni which is made of polycarbonate... that is a very big deal for luggage durability as it gets tossed around.

ABS is fine if you don't travel much, but if you do, it generally won't last too many trips.

Wheels broke off after one international trip, samsonite charged $20 for shipping to their warranty service center even from their own store!

Wait for the double wheels. I have this single wheel Omni in black and it sucks to roll around on carpet at hotels. I'm talking a 50lb child stuffed in the 24". Probably won't be much of an issue if Im packing lighter or using the 20. I bought the 3-piece set from woot for $180 earlier this year. It's a good looking set but the single wheels really kills it for me. If you plan on BIFL then go for double wheels

This. I have purchased both versions and agree on double wheels.

Can't speak to the 50 lb kid thing...

There are 2 different dimesnions given in the description. One is over 65 inches which is over most airlines size for checked bags.

I had this and never got to use it. The zipper went off track and broke the night before my vacation, it was a nightmare. Everything also felt so cheap compared to my old Samsonite set.

Don't buy it.

Ive had this for 5 years and had no issues with it contrary to some reviews. Been on like 6 international flights and it still looks brand new. I mean for this price for a polycarbonate suitcase, its a good deal.

I bought the 3 piece Omni set in 2019. I've been on at least 20 international trips and another 30 domestic trips. They've held up very well. Hopefully they didn't change the construction. Also I rarely, if ever, come across the same set at the luggage retrieval areas. Paid $210 from Samsonite via eBay in 2019.
