$75 trade in value is only for wireless Samsung buds, generic wireless buds are $50 and there's no option to trade in wired headphones (like it was possible for Buds FE).

The 3s sound way better - in fact, they are the first wireless earbuds I've come across that sound as good as my high-end wired earbuds. This price is not as exciting, though - I will wait for $70ish after trade-in.

Bud 2 trade in value is $75 pretty good considered I got it for $40 2 years ago.

Ended up getting another one for the wife. 57+tax with cheap wireless.

After purchasing every Samsung Buds iteration, I will say that I deeply regret buying these. They shreek at every loud noise in your surrounding when not in noise canceling, and they are so poorly fit that they fall off constantly when working out. I've also owned two so far, which second is a replacement of the first. I wish I never traded my Buds 2 Pro for these.

I found my Buds 1 randomly while cleaning a drawer. They've been dead for a few years, so the batteries are likely on last leg. Would be messed up to sell something that might die soon lol.

It'll probably be hard to get more than $50 for used Buds2. They don't stay in my ear so just need to get rid of them.

I have a bunch of Chinese wired pairs. Didn't realize those were eligible 🤣

Only Samsung Buds had $75 trade in value, and it was the same value for all models. Chinese 1-week life ones would have a smaller rebate.

I have the pro2. The problem is that if you ever try to adjust the earbud you end up touching the capacitive surface and pausing the music. There's a slight moment between maybe re-securing the earbud in your ear (or even just itching your ear near the earbud) and the action happening (Skip ahead, rewind to the beginning, end the call). You will have already put your hand down by the time the action happens. So then you have to reach back up and tap the earbud again (but not adjust it, because you already did that and any more adjustment would make it out of place) to correct whatever action you just inadvertently did. And if it was ending a call then you obviously have to be reaching in your pocket to redial that person and apologize. And if you are watching YouTube video and you rewound it to the beginning you then have to unlock your phone and scrobble to that specific part. And then you wonder if just not having ears at all would be easier than having ones that itch and cause you all this frustration.

So yeah I traded in my twos for threes yesterday and I'll be very happy to throw this at whoever at Best buy (for Samsung.com store pickup) is unlucky enough to greet me.

The 3s have voice commands to dictate playback, volume and answer calls. I haven't really used the controls on mine. The pinch/swipe gestures are useful, but handsfree is nice to have.

I ordered memory foam tips. I'd suggest not using the clip case it'll scratch the paint.

FYI That price point is now achievable after trade-in if you factor in 15% CB. I did not jump on this deal for $110 but I ordered this morning as it is cheaper @ approx $85 + taxes.

I did a similar trade with Samsung in the past and did not include anything but the item itself. That's what I did this time, too, but just shipped it yesterday.
