weird heads up: the newest models of this require you to wifi connect and use an app to use the "delayed start" function

not a dealbreaker but annoying when your dishwasher inevitably has trouble finding the 2.4ghz connection again

still a good super quiet machine, tho like all boschs the drying is kinda meh (even with its fancy ass crystals lol)
Costco has a newer version of the 800. That is $1150.

Both are the German models with a water softener.

Newer model…

The big difference is The older model doesn't have PrecisionWash with power control.

I bought the newer model and it took me a bit to find the difference.
Code can vary by state/county, but the NEC standard now requires either a switched disconnect near the dishwasher (i.e., the circuit breaker in another room doesn't count), or that it plug in to an outlet. The outlet must be easily accessible, as in under the kitchen sink. It cannot be behind the dishwasher.

Does anyone know if the Bosch 500 Series at Costco is worth getting? I can't find anything about the model SHP65CC5UC. Are all the 500 Series models the same?

What's up with unavailable to deliver to San Jose?! We've got 10 costcos around here! I guess I'll stick with my old kitchenaide which doesn't dry my dishes.

Current Bosch dishwasher had a leaking rinse aid dispenser. Bought a new OEM part and it was fixed, for one load and now it all leaks out again immediately. Not buying another dishwasher without a heater or fan dryer.

Will Costco do the price adjustment? Purchased in February for 1,199.
purchases that reduce in price within 30 days of the date of purchase are eligible for a price adjustment.

Does this not need an air gap? The Installation Details PDF does not show any connection to the air gap! Can someone confirm?

Looks like the deal might be dead. Price is back up at $1149. That is what shows for me.

Mine delivered today and the contracted installers did a tremendous job with setup. I was shocked how smooth the process went. Super quiet dishwasher. 11/10 for Costco

Can anyone help explain how to fill the salt tank (type of salt and how much) for harder water? I live in Dallas, TX for reference and I think it's pretty hard?

This deal (Model SHX78B75UC) is over but the one you see for $1149 is a higher model (Model SHX78CC5UC). The $999 went OOS for me exactly at 00:00 on the 20th.

Mine got installed today as well. The only surprise is the dishwasher is not NAKED on the side. It has the side panel or enclosure. It pushes the other electric outlet from flush with the cabinet. Need to replace a shallow outlet.

I am sure yours is already installed by now. Mine just installed 3 days ago and it only needed 34". The clearance was about 34 1/16

In MA , there needs to be an GFCI outlet under the sink, code in effect from last 3 years
