Can anyone weigh in on this one? This seems like a pretty solid general home use laptop.

Decent screen and size
USB-C charging
Back-lit keyboard

Current laptop filling this role is an Acer E5-575 from 2016ish so I feel like anything will be a substantial upgrade.

Anyone have any experience with this? I can't find any reviews for it online! Only the higher end versions are being reviewed but not this one!

I found this review [youtube.com] but it's for a lower spec version but should still give you an idea.

I have this one, bought for $349 after $200 trade in for iPad Mini 2.

It's mostly the same as Book3, with updated CPU.

Coming from a Surface Book 2, it is faster at most simple tasks. Battery life is okay, lasts about 6 hours before entering battery saving mode.

Key travel is closer to that of a MBP than my SB2.

Trackpad is large but can get in the way of typing since I rest my wrists on the laptop.

Very quiet and hardly heats up. Then again, I don't use this to game or anything.

Very good build quality.

Screen ratio is the older style 16:9, which is a step down in my view from my Surface Book 2's 3:2. I do s lot of spreadsheets. But for the price, 16:9 is fine, especially for movies.

720p webcam has decent color, functional but nothing great. Basic Zoom needs. My daughter's Acer Chromebook Plus has better webcam.

Speakers are clear, almost no depth.
