How do I check the condition of the laptop that I ordered from order details? (Like new, good, scratch and dent) etc.I was rushing through the order and I didn't take screenshots. I can't find it anywhere now in the order details page or the packing slip.I missed this deal a few days ago and so I jumped on it yesterday. Infact it went out of stock before paying and I started over and got it. I got the $1,119 price that was discounted to $929 but I flew past all the screens and am worried If I selected the right condition (like-new)
I wouldn't worry about it too much unless there is something that stands out when you receive it. You can always reach out to them via chat to find out... To your point I don't see that anywhere in my order details either..
I think most i9 4070s that were showing up were "Like New".
Having said that, I have bought "Scratch and Dent" laptops from Dell Outlet in the past. All of them looked new.. I did return a couple of them but that wasn't because of "Scratch and Dent" but because I didn't like the laptop itself...
A Dell Latitude I bought a decade ago actually had a sticker on the back that read something along the lines of "New - some acronym"..... instead of the usual green "Dell refurbished" sticker... I called back to find out what it meant and the agent said that the outer shell for the laptop most likely did not match the color aesthetics of the model line (assuming some production kafuffle).. which is why it was classified as "Scratch & Dent" but was otherwise "New".. Don't know how true that is.... but in general... I have never looked at a Dell Outlet laptop, even Scratch and Dent and been like.. this has been somewhere... Again.. YMMV Smilie
