There are three options.

The OG ones, these do not do true white in any form as they don't have a white led bulb, output is 25 lumens per bulb.

The version 2 (or called elites at some stores), have a white LED and are 40 lumens per bulb.

The Pro's have more white LED bulbs are 50 lumens each and can be spliced without voiding warranty. The pro's will have the most range of colors with the combination of LEDs included.

Skip the OG ones as they are only $20 cheaper than V2. So it's up to you between the pros and the v2/elite.

I don't need any splicing and not looking for super bright white (prefer warm white), so the V2/elites are what I'm going with.

Also, they all can technically be spliced if you know what you are doing. With the non-pros it's just not as user friendly as you need to DIY it. The pros come with connectors for splicing the wires.

I disagree. I have several of their products and they are excellent.

So instead of just hating on Govee, can you recommend a better product for less money?

At these prices it's not exactly like the knockoffs are much cheaper if at all.

If you are in the market for these style lights, Govee are the most reputable brand. If you can't provide a better option, then just move on.

Can we start the whole pro VS regular conversation again? I remember it being a topic of great debate last year but I can't find the info again. On the surface, the non-pro (100') is about a hundred bucks less but has more lights? The lumens, programming, and several other stats seem to be the same on both?
Why go pro or non-pro?

Christmas tree lights are on sale too. Still pricey, but should be fun for the lady.

164ft should cover a 7.5ft tree nicely.

I have v1 non pros. Love them. Can't imagine need them anymore brighter lol I just use them for holidays so the warm light feature is a moot point for me.

Anyone know where to get an additional Pro power supply and controller?

I've got a few strings leftover from my 200' kit and was thinking about adding to the patio.

(Just get the pro's fyi)

Does anyone know how to avoid spotlighting? During non-seasonal days, using it as normal lighting makes it look like christmas lighting if spotlighted. Do you move the lights as far as you can to the edge of soffits?

Generic power supply available on Amazon. Not sure about the controller.

I bought the 200ft a couple weeks ago for $100 more. Will start a return on those and order at this lower price. Thank you!

I figured that the power supply would be the easy part, but no idea about the controller. My pro's had a power supply and then another slim box that has a power button...assuming the controller is in there?
