These are good on wood but they pull out very easily on drywall.

agreed, completely useless on drywall - you might think it worked, but the lightest tension/pull and it comes off completely.

for that purpose, you're better of using a staple gun, which works super well
honestly, even a normal stapler works super well for that.
that is, assuming you're affixing a relatively thin cable - won't work for thicker ones like coaxial obviously

I bought these last time. Absolutely worthless on drywall and the smaller sizes are difficult to get started (using for garage door opener wire). And they come in packs of 100 which I don't get because most people need like 10-25 of these. I'm thinking I'll have these forever!

Crown stapler is better for small wires like that anyways, not to mention faster.

When did plastic staples start getting (incorrectly) called circle cable clips? This is neither a circle or a cable... it's a plastic staple.

I got a pack of these and then kind of felt stupid after. They showed up and they're really sort of surprisingly big. I can't think of any cables. I have that are actually large enough to utilize them. Perhaps a 12 gauge 3 wire outdoor extension cord? People in reviews say that it's too big for an insulated coax and can easily fit two ethernet cables. Into the drawer, they go never to be seen again lol
