Nope. Just signed up. Tested on Furiosa Mad Max. Saw 8 ads across the film timeline. Each was at least 30 seconds long.

Thanks, OP. I followed the SD link and made sure I was already logged into my Max account to sign up for the deal. I'm only 15 minutes into House of Dragon and I get hit with my first ad, lol. Well hey, it's only $2.99/mo so I think I can endure it.

I mistyped. $7.99. As for how, they sent some former customers emails months ago with a code to get it for that price for 6 months.

But I just did this deal with ads for now because this deal will only last 6 months and that no ads deal doesn't expire until October, 2025 so I could always use that one later.

I may not care about having hbo max EVERY month, though. So maybe i should have just done a couple months without ads. Oh well...

Also my hulu renewed literally a few hours before I realized the hulu deal was going on, so i just wasted $5 to hulu and had to do the deal with another account.

Ditto. Just got this at last minute to check out like 2nd part of new Dune movie and new they got rid of 4K HDR etc for AD version I used to have but didn't think lowered quality be that noticeable but it is!
Only worth if u watch on smaller screen or got bad eyesight I guess tbh might as well be watching the sus torrent version IMO

I may cancel this and go for the MAX/NETFLIX bundle from VZW 5G home for $10/mo. for new lines too but my offer was for internet only.

Soon? No. However it'll probably be back next Black Friday.

The streaming deals are the only thing worth buying anymore during Black Friday weekend. Hulu $1, Max $3, Peacock $1.67ish.
