Be very careful with bulk resellers on Groupon and social stack. They've been known to be selling office products for cheap AND you can find them on MS's authorized reseller pages... But bulk selling licenses like this isn't actually legal. MS can revoke them at any point. Seems like most people are willing to take the risk. This Costco deal seems to be actually really good for a genuine Home product.
Absolutely! But you're knowingly taking that risk instead of promoting the option as a risk-free choice. To each his own. But prices and 'deals' like that are closer to pirating software which should not be promoted on SD.

Quick look at reviews makes it seem like the $25 eGC is a pain to use. Any ways to use that quickly/easily by buying other gift cards, e.g. through Amazon? One review with redacted info makes it seem like you can't?

If you build a new PC, can you change this over to new PC?

Groupon Mac version is $101.24. Where are you seeing $31?

I paid $1.50 for mine and still going strong after 3 years for windows professional 2021. Even if it stops working tomorrow, 50 cents a year is well worth the money lol

And get a barrage of Win32/64 Trojan Pop-ups that will require you to completely install Windows again after wiping the entire drive.

Mine was around $25.00 and it will be 3 years in January.

Appears Microsoft wants to keep its users no matter what!

FYI MS office licenses are sold in various types such as retail (as you mention) or commercial or volume licenses. It's the terms and conditions which makes it illegal to use. There is a grey area so it's not as black and white as you see it with retail licenses. This is why it is legal for Groupon, stack social or other 3rd party selling volume licenses for cheaper because it's intended for software development, testing, virtual machines. MS already got their cut when the licenses were generated and sold to the vendor. This is why you see so many different stories of people saying their license was revoked or my license is going strong after X years. The intended use is already tracked by MS so it is perfectly legal to use under the terms and conditions.

I always see this comment, but never see a comment saying their license has been revoked.
