So I was helping my uncle set up security cameras for his warehouse which needed internet, and found this great deal on internet!

T-mobile has a hidden plan for 30GB data a month data plan (you get your own sim and need your own device).

I got a cellular modem for $40: https://www.netgear.com/home/mobile-wifi/lte-modems/lm1200/ [netgear.com] and was able to use it with T-mobile's provided sim card.

Call in or use their online chat to inquire about the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB plan (SOC: MI30TE or MI30TI)". It is $15/mo but you get a $5/mo discount by using autopay.

If you can't repro then you suck. This also provides you with a phone number for the data account and you get access to t-mobile tuesdays despite it only being a data plan

I just did this deal over the phone as a new customer bringing my own hotspot, BOGO was still active in addition to 2x$25 Costco cards for taking the BOGO offer. They were also offering a Revvl tablet for free with another BOGO for 2 more lines for $15, you have to keep the lines for 24 months. Took 30 mins and the rep picked up immediately when I called in.

What is your monthly bill after taxes?

I activated this deal in November, was told by CSR that my plan was on auto-pay and that I'd be on the $10/mo plan.
My plan was in fact not on auto-pay, so I had to pay a late/outstanding balance fee to reactivate.
Just checked my bill, and it is showing as $15/mo.

Is that what you all are paying after taxes? There isn't a "auto pay" discount showing on my billing summary, so I can't tell if it has been applied.

I should have said it was BOGOHO. Through Costco phone rep, no activation fees or sim card charges. First bill was $22.50 ($15 first line/$7.50 second, you have to be on autopay when the bill generates to get discount). Second month bill just came, $15 ($10 first line, $5 second. $10 in autopay credits/$5 second line discount).

Should also mention this plan qualified for the MLB.tv $149.99 plan promo!

I just ordered through T-Mobile Costco. Used code MI30TI and BOGO50 and the agent confirmed it was $15 a month for two lines. With creating an account as I am a new customer, the call took 25 minutes, no wait time for an agent to pick up. No activation fee or sim card fee, the delivery will be in two days for the SIMs.

Two lines as in, two hotspot lines (like, two separate sim cards and devices)?

Thank you. I just did this. Agent answered right away on the Costco line, and it took 27 minutes as a new customer to setup two lines. No activation, free 2-day shipping (UPS) of SIM cards, $15 per/month total for both. Autopay can only be setup with a DEBIT card or bank account, NOT a CREDIT card. I was required to do a credit app to establish the new account, and then was told I was approved for up to 15 lines. The rep confirmed that each line is assigned a telephone number and while they cannot make/receive calls the line CAN be used for T-Mobile Tuesdays discounts. Excellent deal.

Orded two lines on the 14th. Received the two SIM cards on the 18th. Thanks for mentioning debit or bank account only for autopay (meaning for discount eligibility). That prompted me to log into my account to look at payment settings, where I read that "starting Apr. 14, 2025, only debit cards and bank payments will be eligible for AutoPay discounts." The rep did not mention this. My credit card on file for autopay was indeed flagged as ineligible for discount. I changed it to a debit card and was provided confirmation that doing so results in $10 per month discount. It is more than a little annoying that they now have my debit card number on file, but worth $10 per month I suppose.

The real hack is to have the debit card on file for autopay but make manual payments via credit card so you still get the autopay discount and whatever benefits/points via your credit card.

Thank you all for mentioning that a credit card is ineligible for autopay discount. The customer service rep took my credit card info for autopay so I will change this asap. My SIM cards will be arriving today via USPS.

When you go through Costco do you have to ask them to waive fees or do they just do that automatically? Also, do we need to give Social Security #?
