From the details:
Printed in the USA using Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing technology.

DTG tends to sit on top of the fabric to a degree and will feel rough initially and soften over time. Dye sublimation, on the other hand, is the typical method for mass produced graphic tees and since the fabric is literally dyed, it doesn't fade faster than the material itself, and won't crack over time like screen printing and DTG.

This is still an amazing price for a custom color tee. In for one.

I don't work in the shirt printing business. Without any of that knowledge is there some obvious indication that "lasering" a shirt would be more expensive than other printing methods?

Got my shirt delivered yesterday and super imppressed. For $5 it's a no brainer ... I did a simple logo to use as a gym shirt, but the quality is great. Gildan Softstyle shirt for anyone wondering.

The regular price of $15 is actually really good compared to some other sites I've used like Zazzle, and the print on this one is flawless. I've had issues in the past with Zazzle and the quality they send.

I clearly remember selecting Large, because I was back and forth between L and XL. Yet I received a Small. Invoice says Small. Amazon is freakin' gaslighting me

I'm sure they are getting a great deal on bulk purchases from the distributors, a Gildan tee could be as little as $1.75 so at $5 they are still making some money even if it's $1.00

I ordered on the 25th and received on the 29th. I printed with a copyrighted phrase/logo. The tee quality is actually nice.
