Very curious why they recommend removing the heatsink for the PS5. Other SSDs with them are fine inside the console; what makes this one different?

It probably won't fit homie.

Check out the pic with the heatsink installed... It makes it a chonk. (4th pic on amazon page)

I didn't see any pictures of the heatsink, but in the reviews, I saw one heatsink that looked like what I've seen for other PS5 SSDs.

In one of their videos, they show an absolutely massive copper heatpipe; if that's what they mean, then yeah, that won't fit at all. But the PS5 can support a moderately sized heatsink without problems.

Do I buy an enclosure and copy the current system over first and then install into the computer?

Or can I install into the computer first and then copy the files over?

Are you trying to boot from the orico? I would install it> clone system over to orico> go to your system bios and change the boot to the orico> make sure everything is working well then format the old drive. Someone correct me, though.
