This deal is only available at boost mobile retail stores. Seams like a great deal. I'm Assuming this is a prepaid device so you have to wait a year after activation to unlock. but I'm not sure how long you have to have the $60 plan for until you can downgrade to a cheaper plan. If anyone has some insight I'd love to know!

store employee is likely gonna ask to add most expensive plan, buy insurance, accessories + activiation fee.
This! I went to a store Wednesday and was told $310 out the door with all fees. Not worth the trouble for a phone that takes a year to unlock.

I just upgraded 2 lines from my post paid old infinite account. $349 plus a free year of service. If you were with boost infinite prior to the merge, now is the time to upgrade. $50 after the year of service and no wait unlock according to their policy

Sorry, I might be misunderstanding something, are you saying you got this deal without the infinite plan? Because I thought the free year of service was for the $25mo plan.

This was a heart breaker!
After going to the 4th boost store I finally found one with the iPhone 15 in stock but Im debating if its worth it because they said that on top of the $149 for porting in you also have to pay tax on the full MSRP and then $35 activation fee.
You also have to pay $60 per month so the total for today was over $300
But here was the dealbreaker- you have to stay on the $60 plan for 12 months to unlock the phone. Your can't go down in the plan after the first month eventhough it is prepaid the IMEI is locked to have only the $60 plan. You can port out your number after the first month but essentially you will still have the phone not only locked to boost but if you put in another boost SIM card it won't go towards the 12 months needed to unlock unless you stay on the $60 plan.
so your total is ($60 x 12) + $149 + $35 + tax = 904
That's what they told me instore but please lmk if anyone else was able to decrease their plan after the first month

After canceling the $60/mo plan immediately after buying the phone, can't we just use it as a trade-in device? And use it towards getting an older iPhone or the latest Samsung/Pixel phone

They have it for 350 on their online store but you need to get the 60 plan. No activation fee. Not sure if you can downgrade to the 25 plan after though.

Thanks for this info. I need a new iPhone for app development / testing. Do you think it's feasible for me to avoid most of the fees/monthly charges if I only plan to use the phone with WiFi? I don't need another phone line, just the iPhone. I was hoping that I could buy the phone and then cancel the monthly service right away, or at most maybe only pay for 1 month of service. Thanks!

It's $410 plus tax online. Let us know how much it comes out to after you waste an hour in the Bodega that is a boost mobile store.
