It was $195 a few months ago and it was a FP deal. I was expecting around $180 for BF. But it appears not.
I have used Red Pocket GSMT for over 5 years and am planning to get two renewal kits.

RP is $200 only now.
I just ported out of RP (GSMA).
It wasn't as seamless as its supposed to be. Initial attempt was rejected by RP despite providing all correct info to receiving carrier. During RP chat, which took about 20 minutes, they gave me a different PIN number. In real time I looked at the transfer PIN number provided on the RP site and it was the same one I provided to the receiving carrier. RP refused to tell me why that PIN is different than the one the CS agent is giving me. But once I entered that PIN on the receiving carriers site the transfer went thru right away. So my suggestion would be similar to earlier provided...preemptively call RP immediately upon initiating transfer to avoid them rejecting valid transfer requests.

Final nail is that RP moved my renewal date up by 20 days, and I wouldn't have noticed except that I recently just checked it. CS was able to fix it but unable to give a clear reason as to why it happened, so I'm not confident it won't happen again

And if you need a new phone, the iPhone 13 deal is great. Amex 35%/$30 CB and $35-40 cash back site stack make that an even better deal .
I just don't see the value proposition being comparable to 5+ years ago. Once my two year discount pricing is up, I would be willing to switch back if the cost benefit trade-off makes sense, but I would be surprised if that were the case.
They have an option to move to one of the other network options, but after 2 transfers it costs $2 per transfer. When I'm in a rural area at Christmas, I'll switch to see which one works best.

What is up with those options... WARP, DARK STAR and LIGHT SPEED? Are those codes for the three major networks, and if so do you know which is which? AT&T, T-mobile, Verizon? Where I live, although all 3 work fine in town, it's easy to drive 5-10 minutes out into the boonies and find that unless you've got AT&T you're getting zero bars. If I jump to US Mobile, which of these coded options corresponds to AT&T?
Danke!
Was going to buy a yearly plan and switch from tmobile to verizon.
Red Pocket had $200 plan, then needed to buy a $10 sim to swap carriers.
They charge tax and shipping now, so it was about $238.
At this point makes more sense going to visible.
The 2nd tier plan is $275 and drops to $255 with referral code.
1st tier plan was $395+$30 cashback, got an iphone and unlimited data.
