This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

Another update, and some of it to provide positive feedback to the deal. I mailed 4 trade in phones with prepaid label to Verizon. Each step of transaction, I was receiving confirmation emails, so once I dropped off the package, I got email that carrier has my phones, etc... Once phones were received by Verizon, I got another set of emails, and tonight I got final set of emails confirming that phones were in great shape and confirmation of $1000 trade in value for each phone. In my case 2 were iPhone 6s in great shape, nothing cracked or broken, one iphone x also in good shape, and one iphone 7 with cracked screen in the corner. I was concerned and phone with cracked screen, but initial set of posts said they accept any condition, so long as its not locked or bulging battery, etc. Still waiting for rebate approval, but the only negative experience so far was the initial chatting nightmare, which would be completely negated if I just did the deal via website without human intervention.
It is great to hear that you had a positive Trade-in experience. It's good that Verizon has a functional Trade-in process.
But I had the exact opposite experience. 😒 I did not receive a Trade-in kit at all. The Chat rep did take down details of all 4 Trade-in phones, at the same time when I first ordered the new phones. I did not bother to follow up for 3 weeks as I was still migrating stuff over from my Android phone to new iPhone. When I did phone to inquire about sending in my Trade-ins, the CS rep suggested that she could either send a return kit OR I could go into a Corporate store and drop off the phones there (the Store is just 10 mins away). She even set up an appointment at the store, and so I thought this would be a convenient way to send the Trade-ins. The rep at the store was willing to help but after looking at my account details for a few minutes, he says that my Trade-in had already been initiated online and so he could NOT take the phones in at the store. 😑 But he offered to print a return label and gave me a box for the phones as well. And I had to drop off the box at a Fedex store 😐️ (don't know why the store couldn't keep my box and send it with Fedex person who picks up their daily mail); whatever. I take pics and video of al the phones in the box along with the return label and a printed page of the "Trade-in Receipt" that details the description and IMIE of all my Trade-in phones. I found the "Trade-in Receipt" document in the "Bill & Payments history" --> "Documents and Receipts" tab in my Verizon account online. Knowing that Verizon does have a record of my Trade-in phones, I dropped off the box at Fedex which arrived the next day at a Verizon warehouse.
10 days later, and apparently they are still "processing" my Trade-in. 😟 At no stage in this process did I receive any confirmation emails from Verizon. I only have Fedex tracking proof that the phones are at a Verizon warehouse. The only reason I am NOT TOTALLY FREAKING OUT is because yesterday a CS rep agreed to manually credit 2 months worth of trade-in credit - he verified in his 'systems' that the phones arrived and I qualify for the trade-ins. He further assured me that trade-in credits will start showing up in my next bill. 😐️ Of course, the 2 months credits will only post in the next "few" days 🙄, so I am still on edge.
So, if you follow a Verizon process that works (but even their CS reps don't know their most effective processes), then you're fine. If you happen to stray off their functional path, then be prepared to be...patient. I hope the process/fight for the $200 rebate (x4) is not as exhausting.

Not sure whether trade-in was needed to optimize this offer, if planning to get below 4 lines. I wanted only one line and I did some calculations and I ended up going for a new iphone 16 pro without any trade-in, under the Unlimited Welcome data plan (they charge $10 per month for the device). I did it via a cashback site to get $75, knowing that if I order by myself and not via a representative, a $35 activation fee would not be waived.
Based on this planning, I skipped any trade-in hassle and I picked up the new phone in the next day from a VZ store
After 3 months, I would switch to T-mobile to cover $800 and after a month with them, I would go to a cheaper plan.
If they would not claw back the $200 GC offer from VZ, the phone would be effectively free (the terms state that I must stay with VZ for 12 months).

I like your plan. I did not spend enough time on SD before, but I'm sure I will be slick for the next phone deal. 😆

Anyone successfully get their $200gc or $300gc. I submitted and my status estimated that it will be approved or verified yesterday, but it's still pending. I was wondering if the estimate is accurate or should I call in? Have had some issues with the promotion so just concern that this is another issue.

No, all rebates are still pending for me as well.

I did not receive any trade-in kit, I just got email to print out UPS return label. When initial chat happened, the second rep offered to bring phones into the local store for trade in. Third rep did not ask me, and just selected default value of mailing in phones, when I inquired at the end of the conversation about turning in phones locally, I was told that its no longer possible. So this just speaks of lack of knowledge of multiple reps.
Weird that you got no status emails. If anything, I would say the process generated too much email.
Finally, another odd aspect. I got my first bill before I ever mailed the phones, but the trade in credit was already applied as expected. My first bill also included paper free credit. In other words, my first bill was exactly same as every other bill I will have for total of 36 month, if that makes sense. No weird charges or need to adjust anything at all.
I think I really lucked out with 3rd Rep during the chat, everything been 100% on point.
The phones took a while to be delivered to VZ warehouse, but once received, I got a set of emails that phones have arrived and will be reviewed. It took them few days, but eventually I got a separate email for each phone approval trade in value.

I placed my order a few days ago and received my phones today, porting in from T-Mobile. Migrated my data over on the first phone but was never prompted to complete the port and going to Verizon's port page showed that my number was already a Verizon number. Called Verizon port customer service team and after about 20 minutes agent was able to initiate the port, saying that there was no port in progress, although I received text messages from Verizon 3 days ago (when I placed my order online) and again 2 days ago saying that they received my transfer requests that will start once device ships.
I asked the agent how to avoid this same issue with the other phones that I will be porting over the weekend as I prefer not to have to call in each time but I didn't get a clear answer. Any recommendations?

I told them I have 3 to port from visible and one new. But the agent give me four new numbers and let me port them when I get the phone. so the $200 gift card is not tied to stealing customers to other phone company.
Are you able to get the $200 gift card for each of your Visible lines? I signed up 4 lines (3 not from Visible and 1 from Visible), and the rebate only qualified on the non Visible line. I spoke with Verizon rep and they said Visible is from Verizon therefore the $200 rebate is not qualified. They offered me a $100 credit instead . 😏

I had to end up calling their porting CS number for all my lines. Good news is each call was pretty painless and the ports were processed within minutes.

Has anyone try using Verizon phone on T-mobile while still receiving device credit from Verizon? I have 5 lines on T-mobile and recently signed up another 4 lines with Verizon on this deal. My plan is to have T-Mobile help us payoff the 4 new iPhones after staying with Verizon for a year to keep the Verizon gift cards. While we are still with Verizon, can I use one of the Verizon phones (after 60 days and phone is unlock) on my current T-Mobile line? If so, will T-Mobile still helps pay off that phone when I'm ready to do the Keep and Switch with T-Mobile after staying with Verizon for one year? I can put that Verizon phone back to the Verizon line BEFORE doing the switch to T-Mobile, but my concern is would T-Mobile knows that this Verizon phone was on their network before and therefore, decline to help payoff. Please let know if anyone has tried this before. Thanks!

I've selectively reading through some of the comments on this thread, but so far not seeing any post discussed something similar to my situation. That's why I asked to see if anyone out there had done something that I plan to do. Your comment is not informational and I don't understand what your point is. Are you trying to point out the T-Mobile Keep and Switch doesn't cover IPhone 16 right now? If so, I'm saw that and I expect iPhone 16 series will be added to their list a year from now when I'm ready to jump over to T-Mobile.

Whatever the agent I spoke with yesterday did, didn't help. I called the porting CS again this morning and found out my port was not in progress. She was able to "push through" the port in a few minutes while I was on the phone with her. I'm hoping the rest of my lines go smoother.
