Very unhappy with mine. Cannot view live when there's a notification--it just hangs. It refuses to record locally to USB drive. Total waste of money and electronics.

Could be your USB drive issue. I setup 2 sync unit at different Locations. Both record fine.

Most likely your USB drive issue. Mine works perfectly
