Don't buy this if you are gifting it away. I bought some but they are all in used condition (although Woot listed as New) and come in cheap clear plastic packaging.

How do you know its used. the description says it didn't come in original packaging but are new authentic apple product.

If you have any issues with your order I recommend reaching out to woot customer support via their app/website. There are some comments in the last thread of some buyers with issues as well.

Agree about the packaging condition but the cables are all in stains and scratched, which I can't call it as NEW

Yes I already reached out (but haven't heard anything yet). Just want to give a bit caution for anyone looking to gift this out. Otherwise I think it is acceptable for personal use.

These are pretty useless with the short cord and I don't like how strong they stick to the phone. I prefer a charger where I can just lay the phone down on and pick up when needed. Since the charger sticks so strongly and the cord is short you can't really pick up the phone easily when someone calls. Better of just using a longer USB-C or Lightning cord.

thank all for sharing the feedback.. i did mention it before when the original post was published.. do not buy any apple products other than reputed stores, importantly cables and adapters its easy to get a fake product. buying such products not only disappoint, loose our money, it may damage the phone battery life.

appreciated who all shared the feedback.

I imagine it's easy to identify fake in this case. You can check the firmware version and it should update to latest when paired with phone. Don't think the fake ones would care to duplicate this functionality.

Got mine from the Woot deal a week ago. Package was the original Apple package but had been opened previously. No signs of use on the puck or cable, looks and works like brand new. Probably a return. No complaints from me for the price paid.
