I've been wearing this for years. The earlier versions had more wool count and Kirkland has reduced it but even at that, it's worth every penny. And these are made in USA.

I'm already stocked up but might get one more pair.

I wear these with my red wing boots pretty much all year around.
You do realize these are $11.99 in store right?
Beware, crazy thick, make all your shoes too small

I love these. Cheaper at costco in store (as a usual for costco) by a few bucks. Nice and thick but not too thick. Good socks!

I disagree. I wear these year round and don't find them hot or itchy.

I've never even seen these in my store.

My warehouse sells them in 4-packs, and they're $14.99. At least that's been the case the last three years; I haven't looked yet this season.

I just picked up a 6 pack in store for $11.99. They're thick for cooler weather. I don't see myself wearing them in the summer. I hope these keep the trench foot at bay.

Costco also has these wool socks 5 pair for $8.99 but it has much less wool content. Is the kirkland option worth the additional $10?

I would 100% say yes. I've been between various brands for years. The Kirkland ones have been a steady go-to, plus they are merino wool. These other ones has a smidge of wool compared to the Kirkland ones.

Pendleton and Woolrich are pretty solid stuff. American wools not globally known, but it's pretty durable wools (if sourced in the US)

These are ok. Too much nylon though. Last year I went to full wool socks.
Where do you get your 100% wool socks?
