Watch out. Restaurants that take in Kind today may stop tomorrow. This happened to me. I purchased some inKind credit to use at a place that WAS listed, only to discover the next week that it was gone. No longer accepting. Very frustrating.

I earned $16 INKIND Cash Back on Sept 28th. It says INKIND Cash Back expires 2 months after month AWARDED (60 days from 9/28 puts me at 11/27). The $16 CB is still showing up in my account. Does that mean it's still available for use?

Is date awarded usually same date as date it was earned?

I was in a similar situation and confused as well so I emailed them and they said, "inKind Credit Back earned prior to 1 November 2024 will expire at the end of the day on 31 December 2024."

Are you talking about the 20% credit back? Because if so, that doesn't come off the check. instead it's added as a separate "Cash Back" balance that you have to use separately from your InKind Cash balance. I also couldn't combine any coupons when using the Cash Back balance, which was annoying.

Buyers Beware: InKind offered 25 plus locations in my area early 2024. It's now down to 5 fast food chicken finger restaurants and I'm holding $100+ still.

In my area (Miami) the amount of restaurants using Inkind has ballooned this past year from around 50 to around 80+ restaurants so this is very YMMV

Inkind used to give good coupons for visiting new restaurants but now they only give one coupon for the new users. Not worth it to me anymore.

When choosing a restaurant, be sure to check if they offer additional discounts. You can check by going to the "menu" link from the restaurant listing in the app. This usually takes you to the restaurant's own site, which may give you a pop up for the additional discount. The offer is good usually got one month, so only claim it when you're ready to visit the restaurant. If the pop-up doesn't come back when you check later, try to visit the restaurant's website via incognito mode in your browser.

There's also a referral bonus you can get from current users, but you can only use one discount offer per checkout.

edit: ymmv on the discount from the restaurant websites. May not allow current accounts to claim
