This PSU got the platinum efficiency rating from Cybenetics, so quality should be good: https://www.cybenetics.com/evalua...2336/#home

I bought this two weeks ago. The fan seems to always be running at max speed. It's really loud. I looked online and other people are also having similar issues.

Check your power settings. I got the A750GL and it's super quiet. Barely noticeable even under moderate load.

The model ending with "GL" has a two-pin fan so the power setting won't matter. They are equipped with 120mm fan (as opposed to 135mm on the "G" models).

Lowest price for a >750W PCIE 5 PSU I've ever seen, and it's also top tier but the noise is a terrible downside at MSRP. At this price, not a bad deal if you are on a budget

Some people have had good results just swapping the noisy 120mm PSU fan out for a quieter one.

Im comfortable opening pretty much anything, but opening PSUs scares me because of the high voltage caps. Also, that will void the warranty.

Damn, I was going to buy this to replace my 10-year-old EVGA 750w gold PSU when it dies at some point... but the fan noise must be pretty loud if reviews noted this.

And yeah, I'm sure replacing the fan is easy but to void the warranty is not worth it :/

Swapped my CX750M corsair to this. Figure it's only an extra $10 or so from the BF deal the Corsair was listed as, and this is a little more overhead and going from Bronze to Gold. The code in this deal doesn't seem to work, but another did (not sure which is was, app with auto applying found one that worked). Looks like there is a rebate that is active this month as well for I think $10. Here's hoping it works out!

If anyone curious, going R5 7600 and 7800XT.
