Remember the two golden secrets of Audible. 1) Store unused credits as pre-order audiobook purchases before your subscription runs out. There is no need to use all your credits before your membership ends. When you see a book you want (in or outside of membership), just cancel the pre-order and your credit will be returned. If that pre-order is about to be released and you still haven't used the credit, cancel the pre-order, and use the credit on another pre-order. 2) Return audiobooks you have already listened to for credits or cash refund. You can usually return up to three audiobooks at a time, but this allowance is often only every couple of months. You can return books up to one year from purchase.

I grabbed the GA version of Red Rising, Crescent City, Fourth Wing, and some Sanderson!
Edit: nevermind. It's kind of dumb. I go through the entire purchase, it even says verifying with bank, never gives me the option to use the gift balance, completely looks like it uses my credit card. But then my balance does decrease and I I look at my order history the purchase $0. Weird.
Yeah, you need to add it to your cart rather than buying it at the book page. Then it adds the coupon for the discount cash when you purchase it at checkout. I just used my discount cash for a $19.80 purchase. My card wasn't charged.
I'm guessing the reason they are broken up is production time & cost because it's a full cast and sometimes with a musical score and sound effects.
I can't say whether I recommend it or not, but the reviews are stellar and it's a long book.
Last year, I spent around $100 and got ~40 titles. This year it looks like $35 for 10 titles, about a 30% increase (not bothering to do the exact math).
