Sweet deal on the PB-1000 Pro with cosmetic blemishes. There were about 10 that popped up for $499 and managed to snag two! $300 off retail. I was bummed they didn't discount the new ones on the Black Friday sales but glad I held out.

The PB-1000Pros are still pretty good value at $599 with no blemishes. Considering the original PB-1000 was considered the best value under $500 a decade ago when I bought one at $499 and now you get 12" woofer instead of 10", a bit more wattage, and a built-in app control with only $100 extra inflation over that time.

I bought their sb-3000 sub a year ago from one of their sales for movies and music and man I'm glad I did. Every time I turn something on it sounds great. Room size is maybe 10x12 and open on one size. Sealed subs aren't as loud but tighter so I just went larger than needed to make sure I got enough oomph for moves and it has been fantastic.
