The sad part is the 14th gen processor issues. I just decided to end up building one. With the crazy Newegg deals, Walmart cash back, Amazon deals built a full rig with 2tb Ssd. All high end components for less than $1200. Warranty might be a hassle as each component is separate but we will see. Used the left over money to buy the crazy back for Alienware 32" OLED 4k for less than $200

Will you lot STOP with this shit? The bios update fixes it. Completely. Problem solved. They were pretty on top of it once the issue was made known.

Anyway you'd want to share what/where you bought your components? TIA
I can tell you why I am not getting the Costo one. The mobo is very basic with an old audio codec, 1gbps ethernet, and only 2 M.2 slots. Someone mentions the exact model in that thread. Fan cooling an i9 is just laughable and it doesn't look like the case is designed to hold a radiator to even swap it out with an AIO, which would be another $120-200.

the processor issues is only one part of it. The pre built systems don't always use the most future proofed components or the highest quality ones (outside of the processor). PSU, Mobo etc. Don't have to react so strongly. its just business for them. balance between purchase cost vs warranty cost.
I posted some of the components here as deals. Mods wouldn't let me post cashback how-to. basically walmart had 10% back (now 25% for components if you know how to look). Newegg had free memory. Monitor was a ridiculous $170 thanks to a reddit post. the only thing i am changing (changed already in the pc part picker) is the GPU. i bought the 4070 from walmart at $420, now spending $460 and getting 4070 super. case was $69 at BB and newegg
