I had the fire hose flex pants and the crotch rips out after about 1 year. Their warranty doesn't cover that. Or anything honestly. I have had 0 success with the "no bull return"
While I don't expect pants to last forever. I do expect $80 WORK pants to last more than 50 wears.
At $80 I just assumed I was buying 2 $40 pair of pants. So if I had a problem. I could swap them out in there warranty. And that's just financially how it worked.
Nope, I have be been avoiding this company like the plague over the past few years. As their quality has also dropped.
Socks don't even last more than a couple months now.
Buck naked underwear. Weirdly enough are the only thing I'd buy today.

Good jeans, but strong chemical smell

This is my third pair of jeans from DTC but my first from the 40 Grit sub-brand. Not sure if that has to do with anything but these had a strong chemical smell like moth balls right out of the package. I would return them if I had paid full price, but I washed them before the first wear and the smell is faded but not gone. They definitely look and feel and feel nice and I appreciate the Duluth Details but the Ballroom Flex jeans are still my favorite. Not just because they're not stinky, these 40 Grit jeans don't have the cuffs and waistband lined with firehose material. That's one of the details that stand out for my other Duluth jeans.
