I'm on simple choice from 10 years ago. Lol
Should put "Bill Credits" in the title.
Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

Pulled the trigger after sitting on this deal for a week. It was too good to pass up!
  • $800 trade-in for my spare/back-up Pixel 7. I paid $600 for it in 2022!
  • Pixel 9 XL 256 for $999. On Google's website that spec is $1,199!
  • No connection fee. I was charged only sales tax.
  • No change to my Simple Choice plan. I been with T-Mobile for 20+ years.
  • Free Pixel Buds A

I called 611, explained the situation and he said he'd look into it and said they can't apply the A buds promo that started on 12/2 to the 11/23 transaction of my Pixel 7 trade in for the Pixel 9. He then said he's looking into further similar promotions. He put me on hold for 20 min while checking in periodically. He said option 1 would be to cancel the original Pixel 9 order and return it with no fees due to the 14 day buyer's remorse program and then place the order now for the current promotion. I let him know I already returned my Pixel 7 so that won't work (it's way too much of a hassle anyway and not worth it). The second option he gave me was to order the Pixel buds now for $99 and he'll give me a one-time $50 credit on my bill. I'm on Simple Choice and have been with TMo for 21 years. I asked if he could do a one-time $100 credit. He said he'll have to put in the request and it might take 24-48hrs to get an answer. I said let's try for the $100 credit and he said he'll call me back on 12/6 with an answer.

Looks like this will be the same thing for me. Please let me know if they agree to the $100 credit.

I dropped mine at a T-Mobile corporate store more than a week ago. They gave me a receipt, but oddly my online account order page is still missing the trade-in info I'm guessing that will be updated when the warehouse gets the phone from the store and processes it.
Maybe they didn't do it properly, they probably mailed it in. Did you go there with the return label?

When done correctly, it's accepted then and there and reflects on you order page status, no warehouse involved.

Mine shows this "Promotional value assessed
Original assessment confirmed
$800.00
Recurring promotional credit paid out over 24 months"

Requires the plus or next plans. The plus plan is going to cost me $90 a month. For that price, I can continue with my current provider ($45 per month for the data that I need since most of the time I'm on wifi) and just finance for $45 a month over 22 months for a Pixel 9 XL.

On chat, was given the same deal (without a trade in and with out the Pixel A buds, but waiving the activation fee and shipping fee).

Very tempting and if I needed a new phone, I would definitely pull the trigger on this one.
Incorrect, works on almost any postpaid plan that allows EIPs.
"On Us with trade.
Via 24 monthly bill credits when you trade in an eligible device on most plans."

Plus and Next could already get the Pixels On Us with trade.

By chance anyone had any luck getting the buds added for orders for the Pixel 9 alone just a couple days ago?

Forgive the slightly off-topic question here, but... why sign up for promos like this when even the cheapest plans from T-Mobile are double what one would pay with, say, Visible or Mint or Boost, etc.

I'm on a Visible+ plan for $35/month and... it's generally been good to really good in terms of service and support.

I guess $1000 phone over 24 bill credits (~$42 a month)... kinda evens the playing field, but I don't see how one comes out ahead unless T-Mobile service is really that much better than the MVNOs.

I'm on the simple choice plan by tmobile and with it I get 50gb of tethering and other country usage. Does Visible offer a plan with tethering and other country usage?

Anybody have any experience in trading in a phone with cracked back glass? Doesn't seem to disqualify based on the device condition policy of no screen/lcd damage, no liquid damage, find my phone disabled and device turns on. Trading in an unlocked Pixel 7. Tnx.

For those who already ordered using the previous deal but are within the return period, just contact and ask the rep to order a Bud A series since it's too much hassle to return and reorder. They'll place the order for just Pixel A buds. You might get charged $9.50 connection fee? Just ask for reimbursement via bill credit. I can see pixel A buds processing for shipment.

I'm on One plan.

I am on hold with customer service now. Asking if they would honor adding the promotion, as I have just made the order for new Pixel on Black Friday (and still have not even received the phones). I wouldn't want the hassle of returning and rebuying it with the promotion.

Also, I added 3 new lines and 3 new phones. Promo says "Limit 1 per account." (Not per line?) Fingers crossed if they can do per line.

I just tried and the customer service rep said to reject my phone shipment and replace the order.

You think I should call again and try to get a different representative?

(What is the $9.50 connection fee for?)

My rep would only allow me to cancel my order, return the phone, and reorder to get the buds. I haven't sent my trade-in phone back yet.

I dunno what the connection fee is for..but the rep said I'd have to pay for it for him to order the pixel A buds only. He applied for a bill credit right after though. Try the chat feature instead of a call.

Was gonna do it but it doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle for a rather mediocre phone.

Pixel phone values plummet rapidly and are pretty much only a couple hundred bucks in a year or two.

If you were to do this, go for the Pixel 9 pro XL which seems to retain its value far better.

If this were an iPhone deal, I'd be all over it.

cracked back is okay for trade in. if you're worry, you can always turn in your trade in at the corporate store even on online order.
