I'm on simple choice from 10 years ago. Lol
Should put "Bill Credits" in the title.
Cause I am on the old "ONE" plan, got 6 paid lines and 6 free lines over the life of being a customer for 10 years.

Finally some deals for customers like me on older plans, I jumped on the previous deal for 800 trade on a old S9 I picked up on ebay. (trying to see if I can get buds).

I get what you are saying for those on the newer Go5G plans but I pay less than those MVNOs per line with my current plan.

These are ALWAYS a rip off in the long run. Their monthly cell service requirement is at least double or triple the cost of MVNO like US Mobile. Unless you absolutely need a phone now (... suggestion, just get a cheaper phone until you can afford a nicer one). You're quite literally financing the phone at ""0% interest"" but paying a huge increase in cell service.

US M or similar MVNO:
Phone outright $799 + ($25/m service *24)= $1399

All these ""deals""
Phone at the end of the locked in contract via monthly credits $799 + ($60/m service *24) = $2239.

What is this math..why would you add 799 to the end of the 24 mo? The phone is free, that's why we are locked for 24 months..

Yeah your math don't math for alot of us. Alot of us got bills that are n unmatched by even MVNO
your math only maths when it refers to ATT or Verizon or ppl with plans with no free lines. They offer hella phone discounts just to blow your back out with monthly charges.

A BIG LoL!

You think everyone is paying up the wazoo for T-Mobile service? FWIW, I am paying $190 for 10 lines (including tax), which has unlimited data and 7 GB hotspot as well. Plan is Simple Choice.

T-Mobile is kind enough, I mean really kind enough for people like me to upgrade to Pixel 9s for practically free and mean while paying ONLY $19 per line for cell service is what I call, ONE HECK of a DEAL!

Yup! I have yet to see anyone with a better deal than I have with Tmo w/ my monthly plan.
I don't think I could switch to another carrier due to those free lines and $25 Home Internet service, but I am on a old ONE plan.

Finally Tmo has been giving out deals to folks like us on older plans like this Pixel Deal.

If this deal doesn't expire before I can get another trade in, I'm going to use another line to get a Pixel 9.
Earlier I thought the deal had expired, since at checkout the price for the pixel 9 pro xl changes from 0.00 to $824.24.

I found out the reason, it was as I suspected a limit or blockage on my account, after calling CS.

Apparently everyone has an EIP Credit Limit, mine was reached after my 6th phone order. (I have multiple phones on 2 different promos so the 4 on the same promo hasn't been reached yet.)

Any order after that requires me to pay more upfront, but looks like the credits still apply, weird.

TLDR.
If you guys have multiple orders in already and seeing the same issue I was then likely your EIP Credit Limit has been reached.

I see it listed as Samsung SM-S901B/DS.
Guess I need to contact TForce since their systems don't know how to list unlocked as an option.
Just saw that my S21 FE is listed as SM-G990B/DS instead of the correct SM-G990U1/DS
as well.

Were you able to fix your incorrect model and how/where ?

Yes, and I explained that it would make absolutely no difference to swap it with another number. T-Mobile does not care what phone is on what line or whether a phone is active on any line. He did not say anything about cancelling a line, which would be entirely another issue. Further, he seems to be asking whether he could swap another phone onto the line to keep the line credit. The bottom line is that T-Mobile has closed these options for selling a phone under a payment contract, whether fair or sensible or not.
Right, you can swap the phone, you can't swap the eip to a different number.
If "T-Mobile does not care what phone is on what line or whether a phone is active on any line."
then why do you then say, "The bottom line is that T-Mobile has closed these options for selling a phone under a payment contract, whether fair or sensible or not."
Couldn't this phone be used on someone else's line? gabe could use this phone on one of his other lines, correct? gabe could sell it to me and I could use it on my lines, correct? and if gabe stopped making payments then his credit would be screwed and my phone purchase would be screwed. But it can still be sold and used, unless you are saying Tmobile no longer allows a phone with an eip on it to be used on a different account?

Im paying $55/month. I just traded in a Pixel 7 for $800 credit. In 2 years thats 24*$55 or $1320.

Using the other guy's math, he'll pay - Phone outright $799 + ($25/m service *24)= $1399.

Im coming out ahead. How is his math working?

I forgot to add the buds as I was making sure it would go thru without having to change plans for my mom. T-Mobile TTD Unlimited Plan w/4G MHS is what their plan is currently listed as. I was able to trade in Note 9 for 800.

Do I have to cancel and reorder with buds?

10:20 PM : on the phone now (611) they are checking eligibility for pixel buds. I am hoping they just charge me tax and ship the buds....currently on hold
