Half-off (50%) coupon 508PEPJD (exp. 12/5) on this JSHIX 15.6" FHD (1920x1080, 100% sRGB, IPS for 178° wide viewing angle) portable monitor with a
touchscreen.
- Dual speakers.
- Has cover that flips as a kickstand.
- Can be powered by included adapter or by host over USB-C.
- Video input: HDMI or display port over USB-C.
- Touchscreen works with WIndows ("HID-compliant touch screen" with 15 point multi-touch) and MacOS, no drivers needed
- Touchscreen can be used over older USB-A port too (video has to be over HDMI then)
- Can be used e.g. on a mini PC to effectively use as a "tablet". Possibly bigger screen on-the-go for (non-Lite) Nintendo Switch (but i have not tried), also phones that support such output.

Comes in very generic, unbranded "Portable monitor" box. Nice brightness (though listings vary - Amazon says 250nits, Aliexpress 300nits)
IMO this is a $150+ value for those that need it, compare to prior deal https://slickdeals.net/f/17414070
My only issue with it is that the OSD menus are in Chinese, so when i want to adjust brightness/contrast/volume with the side button, i have to reach for my phone to translate what the menu text is. I could not find a way to switch the language, don't think there is one.
I have seen occasionally such silliness on other listings (I am in California) but not on this one.

FWIW, the Aliexpress listing says (and btw while it looks identical, there's no guarantee they sell exactly the same model):

So they say TouchScreen is known not to work with LG/OnePlus/Asus/Razer (Android?) phones. Presumably only video output works with those
- The Chinese settings menu is a definite put off.
- The manual does not mention touchscreen anywhere in the glorious passport-sized 6 pages, so i imagine many that only connected HDMI cable to it were disappointed touch screen does not work.
Having discovered the touchscreen works over USB though - and connected it to both PC (USB-A) and Mac (USB-C), and seeing it work - i think i can live with the gibberish menuswomp womp 😢
PS. and price raised from $90 to $110! i suspect we killed it, posting the deal here. Wonder if that's a bot or a human that saw the spike at Amazon
