The two cups are actually 32 ounces each.

I have the same model and it's great for smoothies and protein shakes but it struggles with seeds. Stuff like flax/chia seeds breaks but doesn't get blended into the smoothie.
Great deal regardless, especially since it comes with 32oz cups because the aftermarket cups for this blender suck

Stupid question. If I have a full sized ninja blender that had the cup attachment already is there any benefit to getting this?

I wouldn't. I've been looking for the small cups for the bigger ninja but they cost the same as the whole unit. A benefit might be portability?

I hate big bulky blenders unless you have big family which I dont, it's just me the only one that uses it. Once you start using personal size ones, you'll never use the old school blenders

So to get free shipping you have to:

1) Have a Sam's membership
2) Pay for the Plus membership upgrade
3) STILL have to spend over $50

What a racket…

I love and hate this blender. Its great and convenient for making breakfast smoothies, but it has a design flaw and is destined to self destruct in 6 months or less if you use it every day like me. I have gone through 2 of them, just got a vitamix to replace the 2nd one. Basically the cups attach to the base with plastic tabs, the vibrations wear down the plastic tabs, and eventually the blender will be unusable because the plastic tabs deactivate the safety lock, without the tabs the safety is not released and the blender won't start.

Maybe I just got lucky but I've used mine for approximately 2 years, exactly once a day (I never miss my morning shake), and have had no issues with the base or the original blade. Aftermarket blades and cups have lasted between mere days and a few months, but the original parts all still work very well.

The main benefit is that you only have 2 parts to wash - the blade and the cup. It's also smaller than the full size ninja blender that you have. For me the main reason I switched to this blender (and now switched away from it) was the ability to make bigger shakes - my full size blender came with a 16oz cup and I was looking for ~32oz shakes.

Darn it! I managed to place an order, but I received an email informing me that the item was out of stock. Consequently, my order was canceled.
