It's got a longer reach and it will lift higher; to almost 20" versus 18" for the $80 jack.
They just extended that $90 Black Friday price just for this week.

Of course I never crawl under it

It's a bigger and longer jack, so it can reach further under the vehicle to hit more jacking points. And since it's wider, it's more stable.
Say your Camry gets a flat tire? Now you have a "Low-Profile" vehicle and you'll wish you had a jack that could fit under it.

There are two different versions of the Daytona 3-ton jack stands. The dimensions and construction are slightly different, and it becomes more obvious once compared side-by-side outside of the box. Sometimes it is evident when both versions are on display, and can be examined in the store.
It's not clear whether one is newer than the other, or both current, or depending on the supply chain order/supplier, but the easiest way to tell them apart is that one has a center post that is noticeably thicker (~28mm) than the other (23mm) version. There are also differences in the shape of the saddle, number of teeth, their depth, and the height of the lever housing.
The product photos on the packaging, and the website, will not indicate these differences, but there is a way to tell -- from the printed measurements that are on the outside of the box.
The version with the thick post has a slightly smaller base (6-7/16" x 7-3/8") and height range of 11-3/8" to 16-7/8". Their net weight is 7.1kg.
The version with the narrower post has base dimensions of 6-13/16" x 7-11/16" and height range of 11-1/4" to 16-7/8" with a net weight of 6.57kg.
I won't get into which is better, or preferable, which is a personal choice. But if one already has a set of these jack stands and buying another, or buying two sets, it's not a bad idea to make sure they match, one way or the other. Stock will be mixed in a store, and between stores, so unless one is aware, there will be a lottery in effect.
HF has a practice where a particular product will come in different versions with distinct item numbers. This is evident on the coupons where multiple item numbers are listed as being eligible.
However, there are products where different versions of the product retain the same item number, but have different UPC codes. The Pittsburgh jack is one example.
This latter practice is evident when one looks at the item's product manuals on the website, and there are multiple versions, denoted by the UPC, but carrying the same item number.

I was told they don't know what's in the 12 days of Christmas yet but if the 56 inch box is there it won't be in store only. They will allow "pre-orders" at that price.
She explained it this way; when you go in for a ratchet at the sale price and it's out of stock, there is nothing they can do. There is no option for ordering, no rain checks, etc…. So without something to scan, no sale.
The boxes are different t since they are typically "pre-sale" (special order) she said they will just order them at the register as usual and honor the sale price as that is the typical means of sale. (The big boxes are rarely in stock especially with so many different colors)
I was worried that I'd pass on the 72 now and get told no on the 56 later this month... then have no new box this year and have to wait for the next sale. So she wrote on her business card that they will order me in any color 56" box at whatever the coupon price is as long as I come in and buy it the day of the sale. (12/23 I think)
So I'm going with the 56" and a 27" instead of the 72. Larger and $400 cheaper even after buying the larger casters needed for the 27 to match up to the 56. More storage for less money plus the drawers on the 27 are much wider than the small ones on the 72. (A 72 up is basically a 56 and a 15 side box) Those small drawers are pretty small and not very useful.
Search videos on bolting up the 56 and 27, super easy.
