Picked up a pair to try them out because I'm a glove guy. My go-to work gloves are from Dollar Tree, they have a good quality work glove with a heavy rubber coating on the palm and fingers. They also have same but light duty for gardening.

Quote from hopscotchmaster :
If you are out in the cold for awhile I recommend a lined pair like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0759W14DH
I use these as my winter gloves.

Nitrile dipped gloves would be good for grip and fit but not sure about longevity especially if there is any knurling on the bar. Leather fitted work gloves might hold up better but are more clumsy feeling. I have not tested this out personally, just speculating. Always be wary of gloves when working out as they affect grip tactileness and your hands can slip out from the glove.

For the abrasion rating and the cost this might not be bad to try out and figure out what you like/dislike.
thank you, I'll buy a pair
