I liked the one I had that was similar to this but that fine mesh compartment is a PITA to keep clean. Mine eventually got moldy and gross and had to be junked
If you like this idea, look into the stainless steel ones. Also ones that just fit into Mason jars. Can also do tea with them.
This is really good
I got two and keep the coffee flowing
Totally worth it
Do you make concentrate or do you make what you drink straight in this ? Any specific method? I got mine but haven't used yet. Seems nice quality wise. I have a scale and grinder.
I'm sure this is fine, but you really don't need this to make cold brew. I just use a large mason jar (or any large glass container will do) pour in the water and the amount of coffee grounds you want to use and then filter through a traditional coffee filter after a day. Super easy, no specialized equipment necessary.

Load it up 3/4 with Costco's MEDIUM ground roast coffee and stir it a bit while you hit the water level. Let it rest for 24 hours in the refrigerator and enjoy

Metal filter won't work with ground coffee. You need to keep it dry and open for storage

I have 2 of these. They work great. They are not hard to clean. Just put the parts in the dishwasher. If you have 2 you're always ready to make coffee. I paid $20 each probably 3or 4 years ago. Still using them and happy with this every day and would purchase them again in a flash.
