Bitdefender Total Security and Malwarebytes. If nothing else, would consider Bitdefender TS on top of Malwarebytes because of the firewall, as well as other extras that are not present in mbytes. They also work well on the same device, alongside each other, should you prefer to hedge your bets. McAfee is a far cry from what it used to be 15 years ago. Never cared for Norton, especially its heavy impact on the system resources. No first hand experience with ESET
I would go with ESET , low resource use and very string, Norton has hooks everywhere, McAfee is weak

Do the license key codes purchased have an expiry date? Would they work 10 years from now?

Any quick comparisons between these different products?

Norton vs Bitdefender vs ESET vs Malwarebytes vs McAfee

Which one is light and not resource hungry, slowing down system?

Which one is most effective?

Which are cross-platform available on all devices including Android and iOS?

In my experience, both Malwarebytes and Bitdefender are truly Cross-Platform.

Create an account at Bitdefender and/or Malwarebytes, register the purchase & corresponding license / key identifiers, but do NOT activate until needed. If you're buying your products from third party vendors, no need to put your credit card info at either provider "for your auto renewal convenience". Worth mentioning that I've recently extended a current ) five months-running Bitdefender TS subscription for an additional year upon the current one's expiration. Bitdefender has clear instructions that, if followed adlitteram, help avoid the mistake of registering & activating so the new subscription runs concurrently to a pre existing one

Newegg isnt going anywhere but if the code has an expiration date or if a hacker creates a key finder and ends up killing your code you may be sol if you wait past the guarantee period. Use what you can immediately as long as they allow stacking.

Family Pack is the better option. Family pack is actually Total Security but with more devices allowed.

BTW if you're considering stacking on Bitdefender TS, here's the relevant link:

Bitdefender is the best option but it's a major system hog. Toal Security is packed with tons of security options. Anyone that has tried Total Security would tell you its great. It's cross device compatible so also can be used for pc, phone, and pad. Family Pack is exactly Total Security with more devices allowed than Total Security so Family Pack better option than Total Scurity. You can have 15 devices on Family Pack. If you are using older pcs Bitdefender can slow it down so you might want to look elsewhere if you are using a dual core pc/laptop. If you are using a quad core cpu or higher you are good to go. No slowdown with modern decent systems.
My only issue with Total Security is the free vpn is only good for browsing web pages. If you try to download anything with the free vpn you don't have enough dailydata allowed with the free vpn. If you want to use the vpn regularly you have to pay for it. If you are looking for vpn included you might want to look at the other options. Personally I prefer Bitdefender but that's my choice. If I need a vpn I wouldn't use Bitdenders paid vpn anyway. Bitdefender is my personal preference for home use.
Norton is also really good but haven't used it in like 15-20 years can't really say anything about current available options. When I was uding Norton is was more of a system hog than anything else I tried and more of a hog than Bitdefender but things may have changed now. Norton security is owned by Symantec. The U.S. government has used Symantec security for decades. Symantec is similar to Norton security except Symantec is enterprise level while Norton is more for home and small business. With the government still in business with them it should give you an idea of how good Norton is. Norton and Symantec are fairly similar over all but Symantec obviously has more security features.
A lot People also give good reviews with Malewarebytes. Ive only used the Malwarebytes scanner so can't give an opinion on Malwarebytes System Security. Never heard a bad thing about Malwarebytes.
Stay away from Mcafee like the plague.

Family Pack and Total Security are the same exact thing. Total Security options are 5 devices or if you pay more 10 devices allowed. Family Pack is 15 devices.
