This is a solid, quiet well reviewed unit

Looks to be B-tier on here: https://cultists.network/140/psu-tier-list/

Fine, but I'd probably stick to A myself unless there's a huge difference in price.

It's a B tier speculative but the 1st version is in A tier. Apparently this is better than the 1st version and should also be A tier but the list is just not updated (last update was 20 months ago).

Agreed. You can't base it off "speculative"meaning they haven't tested it or updated their charts in a year. I've seen reviews for the 1200w and 850 versions and both review well. I owned the 1000w and wish I could have kept it. Runs cool and quiet and had no issues with it other than the fact that it was too tight a fit for the lancool 207 case(psu goes in sideways, was not comfortable with long term implications of bending cables at 90 degrees at the psu to fit). Used it for a week with about 500w load before swapping out for a rm1000e that gives me 20mm more clearance

Can you tell me if the Corsair RM1200e is A tier? I see the RM1000e on there, but not the 1200. In fact, it's hard for me to find much on the RM1200e.

Wish I saw this comment sooner. Deal seems to be dead now.
