Free Google Pixel 9 Pro phone after 36 months of $28/mo credit. You do have to pay $35 upgrade fee and any taxes (based on the $1000 phone).
No requirement to upgrade to any plan, add a new line, or trade in a phone.

Edit: Looks like the deal is not showing up for everyone, so if you don't get the option to upgrade your phone without any other caveats - it's not a good deal.

The only way I'm seeing to get it at this price is by "upgrading" to their ultimate myplan and trading in a phone. I'm on the old "play more" plan and they require that I switch to the Ultimate plan which costs more per month and includes less

I also have to upgrade my plan to unlimited ultimate to get the deal. Looks like it only applies to new lines.

Also keep in mind that any vzw version of pixel phone's bootloader can't be unlocked even after you pay it off.

I agree. Having to change your plan - would be a deal breaker for me, too.
