I purchased what I thought was a good deal, the keyboard for $125.99, and I really enjoy typing on it. I had to buy another one because that price is too good to pass up on. Build quality is amazing, and the internal structure is extremely solid. Ignore the plastic outer body, it's still heavy, and feels well built. I bought a set of replacement keycaps just to have the LED's shine through, but other than that, the switches it comes with are great.

Yes. Being red switches, they are not only easier to press, but don't make an extremely loud noise when typing.

There is Home key but no matching "End" key on this keyboard. If you are a programmer, you will hate this keyboard. Yes, you can map another key or key combo to be the End key, but there is no good option for doing such a thing. All options for doing so are a significant compromise.

There is space for an End key, I am not sure why some of these keyboard makers are skipping it.

Corsair build quality is great. I have a different k65 version I've been using for almost 10 years.

Definitely don't buy this if you want to ever use it with a Mac. While I understand there are better alternatives to Mac keyboards, I switch between a Mac and Windows machine and the bloated corsair software is a constant crashing mess on the mac. The keyboard is fine (k95 platinum), it's a keyboard. But I can't wait to switch to something less resource heavy and more reliable.

Why do you need the software on the Mac? I have software on pc, I changed what I wanted on keyboard for color etc,… then done.. never to touch that software again… unless you're a person who constantly change themes colors on your keyboard

Zero backlighting on the keyboard without installing the icue garage. Works fine in windows, switch to mac without icue and the keyboard is black. Works fine otherwise, but zero backlighting which I keep my office pretty dark, I nerd that sweet sweet RGB

Edit: if I install icue and it crashes rgb goes goes dark as well. So.... Now corsair for me.

Must be a wireless thing.. I have wired cosair mechanical and experience non of this.. maybe to save on those batteries

You can't take my wired mechanical away from me, have a no love wireless for years after very early versions using rf had delays when typing

I am sure this issue no longer exists but kept me away for years

So no issues with wired Mac and backlights? I don't want to install bloatware so was wondering if you can run this on a Mac without issues
