Well everyone on slickdeals should know not to trust Samsung refrigerators 😂
I would choose Onn over Samsung.... Every Samsung product I have ever purchased except for cellphones ended up failing or messing up prematurely, this includes tvs, refrigerator, washer and dryer etc.... Some of the models were involved in class action lawsuits... Maybe others have had better experiences with Samsung product
in before people who who got the 85" samsung AND 3.1 soundbar for $550 shipped come in here bragging that this deal is mid.

There was a hisense 85" for $548 shipped recently

Samsung was a small window of opportunity. specs were weak just like all the budget TVs here but you got the brand name, and the soundbar.

2025 expect 85" 60hz basic LED tvs to go on sale at this price and once in a while in the 500s popup more.

Is there any "In Store Model" protip for Walmart? Target used to have a store model option for extra 20% off.

Off topic but why are there never any good deals for 77 or 80" tvs but you see plenty deals on 85"?

And I'd choose Samsung over Onn 😂. Many years ago I had a Samsung 1080p tv (pretty new specs for the time) fail after a few years and Samsung came out and fixed it for free (not saying they'd even consider that today).

The couple Onn tvs I bought cheap in the last couple years were either straight up defective or terrible picture quality and were both returned.

That's because you are 2-3 years behind. Those deal were hot when the 85" was still not even in the realm of a budget TV.

Not the best deal I've seen. I got a 85 inch QLEDTCL brand Tv last year on Amazon for 540.

We've had 4 refrigerators in the (extended) family, 3 TVs, a handful of phones, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few items. None of them have issues. I'm certain Samsung has issues overall but I think they're less common than the forums would lead you to believe.
I had 2 sets of dead Samsung washer and dryers and my s23 fe battery is problematic when below 10% fast drain... The vacuum i got 3 years ago still work like Champ though

In 2025 expect them to go up at least 35%, so on a $600 TV, that's an additional $200+.

I've had good experience w/ Onn - a BF 50" that I use daily in my gym has had 1 problem (the Wifi never worked well) but it's hardwired and has been great for 3 years. Cost $120 in 2021.

Samsung.. I have an LN-T5265F in our game room still working great after 15 years (has S-Video for retro gaming), and a 55" LED from 2011 in a rental home still being used daily. But our washer from 2020 needed repair 5 times before BBuy gave up and we replaced w/ LG. The dryer is also garbage.. but our Fridge is fantastic. SO hit or miss, but for TV's I'd personally trust Samsung.

I mean Onn is the Walmart house brand for electronics, so you're basically buying a Great Value tv. If I'm buying food/toiletries/paper goods I know exactly what to expect quality wise from the Great Value name. Is it nice? Well, it's cheap. Sometimes a good value, sometimes it's a buy once and never again experience. Personally, I'd have a bit more trust in a Samsung warranty experience than a (basically great value) warranty experience, but to each his own

fast drain below 10% meaning your capacity is out of wack. I would try to swap that battery out ASAP.
