I played through this game and felt engaged early on but in the end I felt like it was a terrible game. The story was pretty lackluster IMO. I felt my time would have been better spent elsewhere.
Signed in just to say F this game, you'd have to pay me to play it again. Fine if other people liked it, but I found it to be a tedious waste of time that drags on teasing that excitement is around the corner then never delivers. If you play it for an hour or two and are thinking "this is OK, I guess, seems like something great is around the corner," then do yourself a favor, and quit before you waste any more time.
Great game. Easy buy for $2.

I'm kind of surprised this wasn't free at some point, other than on GamePass.

But yeah - IsThereAnyDeal agrees this is the lowest price for this indie game so far.

Deal should be good until January 2nd around noontime, depending on where you are.

I really enjoyed it. Played the whole thing on a long flight with a ps4 controller attached to my laptop.

The logo reminds me of the audio drama Tower 4 on iheartradio (or at least that's where I heard it)

šŸ˜„ so after reading the description of the game... The Tower 4 audio drama /podcast is essentially the same thing. a Tower fire watch ranger/person only has contact from one other person who is located in another tower and all kinds of craziness happen.

i completely agree. i played this with my gf after hearing great things. we usually enjoy walking simulators / adventure games but this one was a big snooze fest. and the unrelenting sarcastic dialogue was torture

I spent 3 months in a fire tower in rural Idaho years ago. It was rather boring. Can't imagine playing a game about it.

It is a very short game. If you are on the fence it is not like you are in for a long time. I personally loved it

This game was not for me. Some people loved it. The conclusion left me thinking "What the F?" much like the end of "Inside." It's not the $2 you may be wasting here, it's the time.

Game is ok, the end is meh but early on it is engaging even thought it might as well be on rails as you have little freedom.
However the company (now owned by valve iirc) had some controversy for banning pewdiepie's let's play in opposition to their stated policy, due to pewd's accidental use of a slur.

Fire Watch and Gone Home are my two favorite walking simulators. Fantastic stories with interactive narratives. It's not your boring low IQ first-person shooter. Cheaper than a movie ticket.
