Excellent bundle of titles. If you can get these in 4k for $13, it's a steal.

How on earth do you buy from iTunes from a browser? I'm signed into my Apple account, but there is no price listed, or a purchase prompt. Do you really have to do this from the AppleTV app, or from an Apple device only?

Yes, Apple is the worst. I accidentally disconnected Apple TV from Movies Anywhere (I have Apple TV + in my Samsung TV). I would never own an Apple device and no longer use a Windows tablet since I got a Samsung Fold phone. So I have no way to reconnect my Apple TV app to Movies Anywhere. Apple is still the worst.

I have the same problem. I have a MacBook Air and an Apple account, TV, with movies and shows purchased. I never see the price. There were few TV shows and movie bundles I wanted, so I broke down and installed iTunes on a Windows machine and I have always been able to purchase through Windows and maybe once via my Apple machines. I watch the movies and shows via a fire stick or an xBox as I do not have a great Apple set of devices, except my work machines .... but I do not mix my work and home devices.

I have asked before on Slickdeals how to get this to work on an Apple device and I have not gotten a consistent answer. One answer was to search for the bundle or collection and see if the price shows up. In one occasion it did. Otherwise it has been generally a miss for using my Apple devices to purchase bundles or collections or full shows on Apple TV.

Is that seriously the only way to connect your Apple account to MA? I thought I did at some point in time, but I can't figure out how to purchase a movie on iTunes without an installed app. I don't want to install the iTunes app just to buy a pack of movies. Fandango at Home, Amazon, Google and MA all allow browser based purchases. Why doesn't Apple?

I won't support anti-consumer behavior like that.
I renewed my MA connection last week. Movies Anywhere website used the windows iTunes app to do the update. I have it installed to watch my apple owned movies and to make any purchases when sales come along.

After Steve Jobs died, Apple has continued to make stupid decisions and stay stagnant as a company. They are a shell of their former selves. At this point all they do is copy a feature that Android has had for 10 years and make a big deal about that feature in their product reveal like they invented the idea. You will need to install their 23+ year old iTunes software on a Windows PC to get this deal.

EDIT: Here we are almost in 2025 and Apple Itunes has no dark mode on PC. Just about burning out my eyeballs looking at this app at 4am in the morning. Thanks Apple....vomit

Apple has the best best picture quality among streaming 4k options. But Apple still compresses the 4k picture for transmission. Doesn't matter how fast your internet connection is, you're losing picture quality (in a noticeable way) vs a 4k disc. It still looks great and it's cool if you don't mind trading a bit of picture quality for convenience, but you're simply wrong when you claim there's no difference between Apple streaming and 4k disc.

Lol "no different from the disk".

That's hilarious.

4K 3D OLED here, won't swap it until it dies. Can't believe they dropped the format - looks amazing when done right.

Just tried this on my Mac Mini. Worked fine, opened the collection in the Apple TV app with the price listed. 🤷 ♂️

I have many 4 k disc and the difference in picture quality is miniscule. The only big difference like I said is the audio which disc is way more superior in and I do have gig speed Internet and live in a area where internet speeds are far superior then other areas .....but I do have alot of boutique labels where I know there isnt a 4 k option for digital on a lot of my titles but I am a huge physical Media collector but definitely in the past couple years streaming your movie s especially on apple they definitely are ahead of the game and the only platform I will buy movies on if it's no movies anywhere options

This is a great deal, but film grain on these older titles can get messy with the streaming compression added. I prefer the UHD disc as the grain is very stable there and the movies look great. With modern digital movies I don't mind the 4K streaming.
