Quote from khoop2198 :
True on all the extra additives that the US has over Europe and Canada. It's all these former government people in the lobby effort in the US over all these years that let's all these additives in. SO when RFK Jr. says he wants to elimnate many of these unhealthy additives, these people go nuts. I wonder why? But related to canola oil - "In terms of heart health, canola oil has several favorable attributes, says Dr. Crosby. It's a decent source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the main vegetarian source of essential omega-3 fatty acids."
Just because 1 doctor says something doesnt make it correct. Seed oils are very unhealthy. Just as is the case with so many things the corporations repurpose cheap things regardless of its health implications. Thats especially true when the government subsidizes it (such as corn extracts like HFCS, which i believe is banned in europe, at least soda in america uses HFCS while europe uses sugar).
