Got another email from them yesterday. It said that they can see the activation failed on their end and they are working with the company that provided them to make it right. I am going to give them a few more days before I just go into the store and cancel it entirely.

Still no resolution from Best Buy. They tell me they escalated to management but haven't heard back from management. How is that supposed to pass as an explanation for their screwup?

Haha for real. Same boat as you. I'm totally done with Best Buy after this fiasco.
Latest response from them is that they've reached out to the card publisher but haven't heard back LOL.

Hi all - Just want to provide my latest update. I called 1-888-BESTBUY, asked to be redirected to the Digital Downloads department and spoke with another representative. I explained the situation again as well as aired my frustration that I have dealt with the last two weeks getting very unhelpful responses via email (politely of course). The lady gave me an option to either cancel my order or get a new card sent out. I elected for the new card obviously. She said I would get an email about it soon, but I have yet to receive it (it was within the last 30 minutes). I logged into my Best Buy account to see if there was a new order and I saw that a second Apple Gift Card shows in my order with this error. Says it should be here on Saturday. Fingers crossed this one is activated.... Just wanted to share with you all in hopes to get your issue addressed!

I finally received a resolution yesterday from their email support who said they could not activate the card and offered me a refund or reshipment. I took the refund. The savings is not worth the hassle. Received my refund today. Good luck everyone.

I did finally receive a $100 refund. I had already spent the $15 Best Buy gift card. It was a lot of back and forth to get to this point. Enough of us must have complained. I feel bad for anyone who didn't check their card balance right away.
