I want to like Costco but not being able to do a simple price adjustment online when I can see the order in my online account is dumb. Some boomer is over there running their online store I guess.

Changing bags is a breeze, you don't have to take the lid off like a bunch of other cans. The entire inner bin is removable, which is fantastic if you have messier contents as you can take the bin to your outside can to avoid any leaks through your house. The bin has well designed vents that make installing a new bag easy. It completely seals smells as long as the lid can close, as the lid is thickened with plastic and sits totally flush against the top of the bin, crushing the garbage bag as a seal. The action of the foot lever is well tuned, it's tough to explain so I'll just say all the things that it doesn't do that worse cans do: you don't have to use a ton of force for it to start opening, it doesn't ever feel bad to open it, it never opens with so much force that you'd unbalance an empty can, it works the same no matter where you step, it never sticks, I've never had to fix the mechanism.
I've washed the entire can with a water hose a few times and everything still works with no visible rust. It's not oversized, compared to a simple human can that was twice the price, it took up less external space while having more internal capacity. The rectangular shape is perfect for the spot we have it in, right next to one of those NSF wire shelves Costco always has. Even backed up right next to it, the lid doesn't swing open to hit it.
The only complaints I have, the top/lid stainless panel isn't impervious, we dropped a big vacuum insulated cup on it and it dented, and sitting anything on it will eventually lead to scratches. The inner rim, especially the back near the lock open switch, is a crumb catcher, best to hit it with a vacuum before trying to wipe it clean.
