We have this. It's a garbage can, it's a really good garbage can. It looks nice. Had kids, they dented the top cause of course they did. Still a nice can. Would recommend.
If you have a Sam's Club membership, they offer a similar trash can at the same price year-round. Its even better because its almost 49L instead of 47. I've been using it for a year, and it's been working out great!

You're doing it wrong. You buy appliances to match your trash can these days, not the other way around. The can will probably last longer than a samsung fridge. But I hear whirlpool makes a kohler silver.

Be aware that the silver color is not the same color of stainless steel on Samsung appliances and looks cheap. I don't hate it but it does not blend and you can tell Kohler cut corners.

Amazing, just bought one a few weeks ago, will go in to get price adjustment. The look and style of the Kohler is what makes this a winner over other similar and even slightly cheaper trash cans.

Great build quality also.

Found it in store $60 at La Habra, CA, but I think only the stainless steel color is available in store

Anyone have experience with how well the trashcan seals and keeps odors inside the can?

Depends on the size of your bathroom. But seeing the product pictures, it's probably be too damn big. Almost look like a dishwasher.

I have this trash can, apparently it is now $15 lower than on 11/30(the day after black Friday). Apparently they weren't selling well. Be aware that the silver color is not the same color of stainless steel on Samsung appliances and looks cheap. I don't hate it but it does not blend and you can tell Kohler cut corners. We have had it 28 days and so far its been okay. I prefer the Simple human cans that cover the bag on the outside but that is personal preference.
I want to like Costco but not being able to do a simple price adjustment online when I can see the order in my online account is dumb. Some boomer is over there running their online store I guess.
It's just for their own profits. Like how they removed the feature of returning something and automatically receiving the highest price you paid for it. Now you must produce that exact receipt.

For anyone deciding between the Costco one and the Sam's Club one, I've had the Sam's one for 6 years. It's still going but the lid has rusted quite a bit on the inside. It looks like the Costco one has plastic on the inside of the lid, so that's a benefit. I've also had problems with a lot of crumbs and food getting stuck near the raising mechanism which is annoying and hard to clean.

Not sure what you mean "Not being able to price adjustment online"? Couple of weeks before I did price adjustment for my dryer using their online form, and they refunded me $200+taxes within 3 days. I had added link to the product and uploaded screenshot of the new price, capturing date-time as well for smoother transaction.

This is the best garbage can I've ever used. I've a version from a few years ago, same design with slightly different color. I liked it so much, I bought a second one when I noticed my Costco was clearing them out.

Changing bags is a breeze, you don't have to take the lid off like a bunch of other cans. The entire inner bin is removable, which is fantastic if you have messier contents as you can take the bin to your outside can to avoid any leaks through your house. The bin has well designed vents that make installing a new bag easy. It completely seals smells as long as the lid can close, as the lid is thickened with plastic and sits totally flush against the top of the bin, crushing the garbage bag as a seal. The action of the foot lever is well tuned, it's tough to explain so I'll just say all the things that it doesn't do that worse cans do: you don't have to use a ton of force for it to start opening, it doesn't ever feel bad to open it, it never opens with so much force that you'd unbalance an empty can, it works the same no matter where you step, it never sticks, I've never had to fix the mechanism.
I've washed the entire can with a water hose a few times and everything still works with no visible rust. It's not oversized, compared to a simple human can that was twice the price, it took up less external space while having more internal capacity. The rectangular shape is perfect for the spot we have it in, right next to one of those NSF wire shelves Costco always has. Even backed up right next to it, the lid doesn't swing open to hit it.

The only complaints I have, the top/lid stainless panel isn't impervious, we dropped a big vacuum insulated cup on it and it dented, and sitting anything on it will eventually lead to scratches. The inner rim, especially the back near the lock open switch, is a crumb catcher, best to hit it with a vacuum before trying to wipe it clean.
