Anyone have feedback about buying from ProAudioStar? Legit site?
Yes they are legit. Many here have bought from PAS before. They are a good company
This guitar is a tempting buy. Not a lot of reviews out there or even Youtube vids but it sounds like it's at least solid wood top (not certain about the back and sides) and the price is pretty good. Since they don't explicitly mention that the back and sides are solid (vs the top) its likely that the back and sides are laminate

Thanks for the feedback. Thinking it's likely laminate back and sides like you mentioned.
These, like everything else Crafted in Indonesia (at the Samick plant) will be totally consistent, well made, and decently set up out of the box. I've not had one miss across cii fenders, squiers, and guilds in the last decade.
In Guild's import product line 100 series are all solid wood and 200 series are laminate back and sides. Oxnard USA made are all recreations of classic two digit models.
Don't forget the 15% off by signing up. States Rosewood back and sides, which is hard to find under $300. Another to watch for is the Yamaha FS830 (Rosewood) if its ever under $300. Cannot say about playability or quality of Guilds...

Unless it says "solid" rosewood back and sides, you can bet on it being laminate.

Yeah it appears that you're correct, and this extends to the whole Westerly collection. I don't have one of these in front of me to confirm or deny. I know their electrics are primarily made at Samick now, right alongside Gretsch indo stuff (like the current stock EM's and Jim Dandy's and whatnot). I assumed this would translate to current stock Guild acoustics since it's the bog standard materials you see on all the indo Fender stuff. I'd still be curious to get confirmation as to whether this is universal and holds true to all copies or if some are made in China and some are Crafted in Indonesia. Probably the former as On Guild's website they obscure all view of the label.

I was hoping it wasn't made it China and bought it. Sticker confirms it. Also a hair was baked into the finish. It feels like a kids toy. Would recommend spending more for a better experience or trying it out before purchase. I ended up getting this on ebay. PAS sent me an offer for $285. I tried to cancel it but they rejected it and marked it as shipped immediately with a label created (pretty shady of them and I wont buy from them again due to that).
