Just picked up a Leap v2 for $974 plus tax, free shipping.

Previously went with Crandall, went with an "authorized factory return" grade A that had some pretty obvious defects like paint chips and torn fabric. Even with the BF sale from Crandall this new Leap v2 is only $150 more. Seems like the smarter choice for those who are shopping for a Steelcase chair at this point.

Bought the Gesture, their most expensive model, fully loaded

The cushion on the seat portion went flat in less than 2 years - my BMI is 18.5 all muscle, no fat ass, and im under 6 ft tall

The back cushion is starting to sag as well

Whether the chair is $100 or $1500 i dont think i will ever purchase a Steelcase again

Btw: tried warrantying it and i felt like a dog jumping through a million hoops, im not gonna do a song and dance for 1500+, my time is more valuable than that so keep that in mind when you read reviews about how good their warranty and customer service is
