My CyberPower UPS began randomly shutting off all of my devices right outside of the three year warranty. Batteries age and die like any other UPS, but randomly shutting off is a major design issue and puts my NAS at risk of data loss. Proceed with caution or get an APC, personally I've lost all trust in CyberPower.
Probably just needs a battery. And they all fail eventually. I've had very good experiences with Cyberpower units.
This was with the unit plugged in with power, not during an outage. A quick search shows that tons of people have the same issue with CyberPower UPSs just randomly shutting off. Kinda defeats the whole point of a UPS.
Just sharing my two-cents. Spend the extra $15 for an APC is my recommendation.

The same thing happened to mine recently. Not just 1 but both units. Will never trust them again.
I've seen APCs do similar things. Not a fan of them, either.
My Cyberpower has been running well. As mentioned above, maybe they don't tolerate bad batteries well, which isn't great, but just means you need to replace them...
I don't care for these particular prices - only $30 less than new at Costco, for the most part. Thanks anyway OP!

Cyber powers and notorious for not passing power when the cells go bad defeats the whole purpose of having redundancy for uptime.
This is number one reason I don't buy Cyberpower. It shuts down when the battery goes bad. It's pretty rough for servers and other types of things you keep on a UPS. APC doesn't do this and they aren't that much more expensive.
Yeah company I work for uses these and they turn off once the battery dies even if plugged in I've personally seen at least 8-10 die and not recharge anymore.

I had an old APC UPS that I converted from Lead-Acid to Li-Ion.
