These controller will drift right after warranty ended. I'm on my third controller.

It's an issue primarily with Microsoft controllers going back to the 360 controllers - all of mine had stick drift, but most games had dead zones large enough that it was early an issue.

My original Xbox One S controllers don't have stick drift, but it seems that it's back with the current updated Xbox controllers.

Or use rechargeable batteries. I bought Panasonic Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries 8 years ago and have been using them ever since.

I have 6 of these controllers, not one has had stick drift problems, and they have been used frequently for years.
You won't see many posts from the people who aren't having drift issues, just the ones who have.
For $35, I would grab one if you need it.

UPDATE: As of today, for order placed 12/30, my order is delayed and not yet shipped. Not sure what to do here, debating either cancelling or waiting. Do they provide courtesy credit or store credit for customer satisfaction?
