took a $10 coupon off of here last month and they didn't take it so i had to pay full price for a horrible haircut. not worth the risk for me sadly
Great Clips is $23-28 in SF bay area so this is a great deal for me.

Because they get paid well, the hair stylists are generally pretty decent.

----

For those who are wondering, they get paid the minimum wage ($15) plus tips so they probably make $30+ an hour
It worked for me. $18 haircut for $10. South Florida.

Keep on going until you find a great hair stylist. Then go strictly to that one from then on.

And here you have it …barbers in my area charging $75 per haircut with clippers or $95 for scissors haircut . Yup just regular haircut
That's insane. My barber charges $15 for a haircut.

If you're actually in SF there are shops that only charge $10 for a haircut in Chinatown and I would say some are equivalent to a Great Clips haircut. I just went with my 2 boys. Paid $30 for all 3 and tipped them $10. I even found a $8 place, but would not recommend it lol...
I need to find one that massages the head, shoulders and neck. Usually it's the Asian ones that do this.

Good hairstylist is not even about the money, it's about whether they have time for you. I was paying $80 to a guy, yet I was never able to break into his rotation as a regular, so I had to give up on him and try to get lucky when I have a special event going on. Because, wow, he had skills like no other.
With that much you can rotate with Great Clips stylist 8 times with the same stylist or different one for each rotation on the same visit 😁

Does this have to be printed out, or can the code be shown on a phone?

Thanks!

EDIT: It took almost 10 minutes for the e-mail to come through. From the e-mail, it sounds like we just show or verbally give them the digital code, as there's no barcode or anything on the e-mail. As others have stated, the e-mail clearly states to call/verify the location accepts Digital coupon codes before service.

Not sure why there are so many complaints for Great Clips. Maybe they are messing up people's Gen Z broccoli style haircuts or something but my son and I go there for a simple fade and it's perfect.Much better than these local "family" homie shops that charge $50 for a fade and talk shit all day.
Been going to the same Great Clips person since 2001. She is great and apparently they do have some good stylists

They may get less for customers using the coupon but most people will give a generous tip because of the low price. Minimum wage is $10 an hour in Florida for tipped workers. Top price for a hair cut is $20, less for seniors and kids.
Not sure about that logic. Cheap people don't tip well, would likely be the same or worse tips

I normally display the code on my phone and the woman enters the letters on the machine.

I use these coupons regularly. The bad part is when you finally get a great haircut, that stylist is no longer there on your next visit. Then you have to get 5 more bad haircuts to get a good one.

Yea the one in Millbrae took it. I'd call and ask before heading in unless it's along the way.

SF did not.

Yea I think many of the people using the $10 coupon don't tip well.

I tip based on the original value, which the stylist was grateful for.
