can you charge at 240v from generator, panel, ev charging station, etc.? i believe ecoflow dpu can be charged at 240v at an ev charging station via one of their adapter cables. i don't think anker f3800 can do that. what about this one?

The AC input is labeled as 100-120V input. The smart transfer switch will charge the unit at 240V AC but it's not clear if that is supported any other way.

When plugged into 120V AC input, the 240V outputs bridge L1/L2 but remain active **in online UPS mode**. This means you can still pull up to 3600W 120V AC into a transfer switch to power 120V legs, but any 240V appliance will see 0V L1 to L2 and will not work

thanks. the ecoflow delta pro ultra is not much more in price and does 240v charging at 6000-7000 watts, from dryer outlet, generator 240v outlet, even at EV charging stations with an adapter cable. like the jackery, it has 7,200 watt inverter, but ecoflow has 6kwh battery vs. only 5kwh for the jackery.

other than the fact that some folks might prefer jackery over ecoflow for some reason or another, why would someone choose this over the ecoflow?

Cost is the big one. The base package DPU has been as low as $4200 ish new and is currently listed on Ecoflow's site for $5200.

$3000 is significantly less expensive, and the intro price of $3500 including the smart panel undercuts Ecoflow even more.

The DPU has a better footprint on the floor when you expand it out to 30 kWh, but for a single unit the Jackery will be easier to move as a dolly.

Customer service has been variable for Ecoflow. Maybe Jackery is better, I don't know.

DPU was $4000 brand new just six weeks ago, on Wellbots, which is no tax for me, saving another 10% ($400).

Certified refurbs go for $3500. Considering DPU has 20% more storage capacity, it seems worth the difference.

I don't own any power stations, or any Jackery, Anker, or EcoFlow products, so I don't have any dog in the fight. I just have a Honda generator, a couple cheap inverters and a very old battery bank with 12v deep cycles.

Only recently am I getting interested in power stations with the rapid advancements and plummeting prices for LiFePO4 batteries making them intriguing.
