The $1 worked for me but about 10 minutes later they tacked on a $35.99 charge for 6 markers which I did not authorize. They only have a support email and no phone number I can find. Will update the progress of this but would want people to beware of this.

That was a headache to pay for. At the end a pop up will ask to OK $36 for a pack of 6. Be careful and don't click it.

That is the exact amount of the special offers that pop up after you check out. You may have accidentally clicked one of them, which I expect wouldn't have prompted you for payment details again. I went ahead and hit decline, so not sure if it auto-adds if you don't, which would be shady

After you pay the $1 you get an "Exclusive offer" that's $35. There's a big button saying to pay now. I assume you clicked it?

Just curious about this, what's the point of buying a single random colored marker?

Because each marker tends to go for ~$5 in the packs they sell of them.

I was very careful not to click on the multiple 6 marker adds for $35.99. It is possible I could have fat fingered one though tbh.

In for 1. Thanks OP.

Also be very careful to not select the offers after you pay. I read about them here and still almost clicked them.

Same. Very sneaky.
I screenshotted the confirmation page if there's any shenanigans.
