Product Description: | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - PlayStation 5
In the direct sequel to the record-breaking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against the ultimate threat.
The ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov is extending his grasp across the world causing Task Force 141 to fight like never before. Combat means making choices --- different loadouts, different paths through the mission. In addition to the signature, cinematic Call of Duty campaign missions, Modern Warfare III introduces open combat missions that provide more player choice. There is no one-size-fits-all solution -- it is your choice whether to take the stealthy approach or go loud taking on any and all foes.
ITS TIME TO SETTLE OLD SCORES AND START NEW ONES
Modern Warfare III celebrates the 20th anniversary of Call of Duty with one of the greatest collections of Multiplayer maps ever assembled - both fan favourites and all new ones. All 16 launch maps from the original Modern Warfare 2 (2009) have been modernised with new modes and gameplay features and will be available at launch to get everyone started, while over 12 all-new core 6v6 maps will fuel post-launch live seasons. Modern Warfare III will also launch with new Ground War maps boasting innovative play spaces and the epic return and evolution of the popular War Mode that first debuted in 2017's Call of Duty: WWII.

For the first time, team up with other squads to survive and fight massive hordes of the undead in the largest Call of Duty Zombies map ever. Modern Warfare Zombies (MWZ) tells a new Treyarch Zombies story with missions, core Zombies features and secrets to discover. This place they cancelled my order a month later after item was "back ordered"
They had an item for sale, was OOS while on sale.
The second the sale ended, it was back in stock and $20 more expensive....
Apparently no any more.

I see people do this all the time, and try to rationalize the price of games to some other thing, when they only quantify for the time spent, and not the quality of the time. Very stupid people do this.
But they are not comparable, because the experiences are unique.
People make the comparison because video games are a form of entertainment.
And they do fall within the same category as TV shows, movies, things like that.
I'm a busy father without a lot of spare time. If I have a spare hour in the evening, I can either watch an episode of a show on Netflix, or I can go play a game.
Because games require participation I do not play any games that I do not enjoy. I may watch a show that I don't love because I'm not really paying attention and I'm playing on my phone.
It's interesting. When it comes to inflation usually the "old timers" are the ones that cannot get adjusted to modern prices. I.e. your old Grandpa that complains about going to the movies for $20 because he remembers going for a nickel.
But with video games, it's the opposite. Us old timers that remember paying $70 for a Nintendo 64 game think that modern gaming is a steal.
However, the younger folks that seem to have so many different things fighting for their attention span. I think they would just rather watch Netflix or YouTube then pay for a game.

The live service online games that crashed terribly hard OK maybe five or $10 but you're talking about some of the worst games ever.
Avatar is a fair comparison. Using this website as an example, it does look like you could buy avatar once or twice for $20 if you waited an entire year.
I personally bought the game on sale for $35. I still have not beaten it. So to your point, I could've waited and picked it up for $15 cheaper.
But even using that logic, that means you may be able to save nine dollars on this game and about 9 to 11 months.

It's a lot less like AC than I was expecting being a Ubisoft game. The stealth can be a bit of a bummer at times. The game does a good job of not hiding objectives from you but not making them blatantly obvious either.
